Privacy policy
Draft for the MVP. It describes how the software behaves today and must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer for each launch country (for example India's DPDP Act, GDPR, COPPA and app-store rules) before public launch.
What we collect
Account details (email, username, display name, password hash, date of birth), what you post (challenges, updates, comments, photos, videos), evidence you submit for review, and your follows, blocks and settings.
Date of birth is used only for the minimum-age check and under-18 protections. It is never shown publicly.
How evidence is protected
Evidence is visible only to you and Lenj reviewers, enforced in the database itself. Location and camera metadata are removed from photos and videos on upload, and you can cover personal details before uploading.
Analytics
We record first-party product events (for example “challenge created”) in our own database to improve the app. You can turn this off in Settings. It is off by default for under-18 accounts. We don't sell personal data.
Your choices
Make your account private, choose who can invite you, download all your data, or delete your account permanently from Settings.
